Scrambler stolen in Fobbing burglary

Police are appealing for information after a shed burglary in Herford Drive, Fobbing.

Between 9pm on Sunday, April 15 and 7am the next day, suspects gained entry to a shed by removing the padlock and moved some items out of the shed in order to steal a KTM 125 white scrambler bike, worth an estimated £2,000.

Investigating officer, Pc Marek Jaworski, said: “The bike pictured is fairly distinctive, and would be easily recognisable. Have you seen it offered for sale somewhere or know someone who has recently acquired one that looks like this? Any amount of information could help us with our investigation, so please do the right thing and contact us so we can return it to its rightful owner and arrest those responsible.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Marek Jaworski at the Basildon area investigation team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  1. This is so horrible to hear! My boyfriend and I will be on the lookout when we travel around the UK to ride his MX bike! Best of luck finding it 🙂
