Dateline: 1230 hrs: Sunday Sept 16th.
TWO MEN were in custody last night (Saturday) after an attempted break in to a South Ockendon jewellers.
Police were alerted at 2145 hrs to a premises in the Derwent Parade.
With the assistance of the police helicopter, the area was searched and two men were arrested nearby.
A 37-year-old man from South Ockendon and a 39-year-old man from East London remain in police custody.
