WE ENDED the year with campaigners in East Tilbury demonstrating in the council chamber regarding Mucking tip and so we start the year with Aveley residents petitioning against planning proposals in their ward.
The key issue regarding the application near to the Aveley by-pass appears to be what lies beneath the ground.
The chair of Aveley Community Forum, Rev Alan Field and a number of community leaders went to the council offices to meet with planning officers.
It is an issue we discussed with Rev Field on a number of occasions.
Here, we ask him to re-iterate what he believes is under the land and why he feels so strongly about it.
Has Rev contacted any of his local councillors for assistance, or has he not realised there are no local elections this year?
I was at the Aveley forum meeting last week. Where was the three elected councillors because they wasn’t there , We only see these three when election time is here. I ask you shirt lifter would you or any family members with children live on this development? it isn’t all about politics and Money .
Health and well being is far more important . I think you raise a very good point although Alan Fields did not get elected he is fighting the Bypass unlike the councillors who are getting paid Tories and UKIP and Labour so well done Mr Fields
For the record:
There wasn’t an Aveley Forum meeting last week.
We understand that there was an Aveley Residents Committee meet.
Next forum is on Tues Jan 15th.

Why would alan field get in touch with his local councillors when they have already voted to proceed with this development and I believe as quoted above it shows what a better councillor he would of made than the three we have got now by him doing this as a member of the public, I’m sure the three councillors are fully aware of the situation and have yet to come forward because of what I have already mentioned they have already voted for this project in the next couple of days I shall be making comment on your Thurrock precisely on what’s wrong in Thurrock council and give you the details of a complaint that i made in may of last year and the residents can make up there own mind.
