YOU COULD sense the sense of pride from the speeches made by St Clere’s staff and guests at the Butts Lane school.
The mayor of Thurrock, cllr Yash Gupta joined civic and community leaders from across the region as the school opened its first ever contemplation space.
The area, within the humanities department is designed as little spiritual oasis in the school during a busy working day for all concerned.
The opening address was by headteacher, Mrs Ashlie Hughes. Followed by Ms Carla Taylor and Mr Phil Togwell from Prayer Space in Schools team.
