Stanford Rugby club host Summer Fun Day for player stricken with cancer.

THE STANFORD RUGBY club are hosting a charity summer fun day on Saturday.

The day is on behalf of one of the rugby club’s younger players (Luke Dawson) who is currently battling cancer. So the fundraising is specifically directed towards the Paediatric & Adolescent Oncology Research Fund.

The event will take place at 3pm at the rec on Grove Road, Stanford-le-Hope and will include:
Conversion challenge (A conversion is kicking a rugby ball between the posts)
Man Vs Food – how hot do you like your food?
Have a go pole-dancing

As well as raffle, auction, bar, DJ, karaoke, live music, face painting…
