A JUNIOR Dadson brace gave Harlow an impressive win to move them up into the playoff positions. A goal in each half from Dadson helped continue Harlows great run.

Harlow were looking to make their unbeaten run stretch to eleven games against a mid table Aveley who were looking to cause an upset. The visitors started brightly with good stages of possession but failed to create any real chances. Harlow had the first opportunity when the ball found its way to Daniel Brown who scuffed his shot wide.Harlow did however take the lead on the eleventh minute. Leon Antoine intercepted a loose pass from Aveley and he strides to the defenders and at the defining moment put through Dadson to slot home the first goal of the afternoon.

Aveley responded well but were still struggling to find to create an opening to unsettle the Harlow back four. it wasn’t until the 25th minute when the visitors had their first glimpse of goal.

Petrit Elbi picked the ball up on the half way line, strided towards the Harlow defenders and unleashed a powerful shot but his shot was just over. However Harlow were winning the battle of midfield with strong challenges flying in from Brown and Glowacki to show resilience and determination. Harlow were finishing the half strongly and the last chance fell to Alex Read. a Fantastic cross from Robbie Martin was inches over Reads head, if contact was made, a second goal would have been a definite. The second half started similar to the first. Aveley were starting to create a few more chances but nothing to challenge the keeper. Harlow were getting back into the game and Harlow came close again.
Brown stroke a venomous strike that look goalbound but unfortunately struck Leon Antoine and the ball went wide.

Harlow only continued their pressure when Alex Read twisted and turned Aveley captain and his shot was curling towards the corner of the net but was well saved by Giddens.

Harlow finally got their rewards. A mistake from Aveley dfender Blackwood gifted Dadson the ball and he raced through on goal, rounded the keeper and passed the ball into the net to make it 2-0 on 69 minutes.

Aveley gave little response as they missed a few chances through Asante and substitute Gayle but they were not to threaten the Harlow keeper any more.

Harlow saw the game out comfortably and sealed all three points with a good performance.
