Community champions Ngage delighted to have scooped Civic Award!

NGAGE, the community organisation and Volunteer Centre for Thurrock are celebrating after winning the 2014 Mayor’s Award at the recent Thurrock Civic Awards held at the National Skills Academy in the High House Production Park.

ngage won the award following a public vote for their outstanding work in the community. Jacqui Payne, programme manager for ngage said:civic2 “We were thrilled to win but equally surprised to win, as we were up against some inspirational people and organisations who were all deserving winners. We would like to thank all those people who took the time to vote for us”.

“We have been working in community of Thurrock since 1997 and are all very passionate about the work that we do. My staff are extremely dedicated and are always happy and smiling. We would like to thank the Mayor of Thurrock for nominating us and also the directors of ngage for their continued support”
