EASTER holiday waste and recycling collection dates have been announced by Thurrock Council
In order to minimise disruption to the majority of people, those who are due to have collections on Good Friday – 18 April – will have their bins collected on Saturday, 26 April 2014.
All other collections will be delayed by one day.
The collections will be:
Good Friday, 18 April, no collection
Easter Monday, 21 April, no collection
Tuesday, 22 April, Monday’s waste
Wednesday, 23 April, Tuesday’s waste
Thursday, 24 April, Wednesday’s waste
Friday, 25 April, Thursday’s waste
Saturday, 26 April, Friday’s waste
Side-waste – bagged and sealed refuse by the side of the bin – will be collected from Tuesday 22 April to Saturday 26 April.
The collections on the week following May Day bank holiday (5 May), Spring bank holiday, (26 May) and the late summer bank holiday, (26 August) will all operate one day late in that week with the crews working Tuesday to Saturday.
