Incident: 1700 hrs

FIRE CREWS have been called to a terraced house in Hampden Road, Grays after a roof collapsed.

Crews arriving at the scene have established a cordon and await the arrival of ECFRS’ rescue dog Darcy to search the rubble for possible casualties.

At 18:02 hrs, crews report they are standing by.

Gas and local authority engineers are now on the scene.
