    Belhus won by 37 runs.

    BELHUS batted first at West Essex’s home ground. Top scorers for the visitors were Michael Fogg and Roy Heffernan with 43 and 33 respectively. West Essex bowled and fielded well to restrict Belhus to 172 all out in 49,5 overs. Wasim Mahmood was the best bowler taking 3 for 31 in 10 overs. The home side were never in the chase however and Martin Guilbert produced figures of 5 for 28 in 10 overs to seal victory for the Thurrock side.

    West Essex won by 3 wickets.

    Belhus won the toss and batted first on their home turf. The innings was dominated by some classy stroke play by John Lewis who scored 72. Jake Wolfe and Stuart Morris scored 40 and 36 each. The final total of 238 for 7 in 52 overs was a defendable one. The visitors however set about the chase positively and Belhus did not take enough early wickets to put them on the back foot. A. Ali and M Islam both scored fifties in seeing their side home. Cliff Cansdale took three wickets. Ali had an excellent all round match after having taken 3 wickets in the Belhus innings and an outstanding one handed catch.

    Belhus 4s won by 160 runs

    Jack Day scored a career best 79 not out for Belhus and Jack Plane 58 not out. Jim Banner scored 54. Innings declared after 45 overs.

    In dismissing Upminster for only 70 Paul Whitlock took 4 for 18 in 11 overs. Amit Gohil took 4 for 16 in 6.4 overs and Alan Maidment took 2 for 20 in 11 overs. Upminster batted 34.4 overs to score 70!!!!!!
