ALMOST 70 youngsters took part in week long sessions of tennis summer school at the Thurrock Lawn Tennis club in Grays.
They had three coaching sessions and then tournaments that took two sessions.
They had a lot of fun as well as learning a new sport. They hold regular ratings tournaments.
They have adult and junior coaching going on regularly as well as league matches and club championships. There are two new sessions that are open to members and non- members:-
Cardio tennis takes place on Thursdays for one hour starting at 7.30 and costs £6 a session.
Ladies Social takes place on Thursdays at 10 to 11.30 and is 45 minutes coaching followed by match play with coffee/tea and biscuits.
This costs £5 per session.
