THOUSANDS of residents and visitors enjoyed the first ever Village Beach Festival in Grays.

The festival was a dazzling display of art, drama and music in the sunny environs of Grays Beach Park.

For some people, it was an opportunity to watch local singers in a number of tents. For others it was a chance to see bigger acts on the main stage and for many it was a chance to wander around.

The day was also great chance for a large number of local organisations such as Thurrock Art Society, Thurrock Courts Players and Thurrock Foodbank to host displays.

Many people were entranced by acts such as the Brazilian Artd and especially by the Rajasthan Theatre Group who had to be seen to be believed.

Below is a twenty minute film of what YT saw as we took a wander around festival.
