Statement from East of England Ambulance Service
"We received a call at 5.01pm and sent a rapid response vehicle, which was on scene in three minutes, and an ambulance.
The crews treated one patient, a male in his 50s, and took him by ambulance to Basildon and Thurrock hospital with a possible hip and abdominal injury.

THERE re reports that a pedestrian has been hit by a bus in Grays.
The road traffic collision is believed to have happened at just after 5pm on Tuesday afternoon.
