Zombie zone at Grays Shopping Centre

THERE are ghoulish goings on at the Grays Shopping Centre, this October Term with menacing magic, Trick and Treating and lots of facepulling for facebook!

On Thursday, 29 October, Award Winning Oz Moses will be entertaining the ‘little horrors’ of Grays at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm, with his menacing magic shows and inviting them to go on a ‘Trick or Treat’ Hunt – collecting stickers at four special shops in the centre and then exchanging their completed entry form for a Halloween gift*. All names will be put into the witch’s cauldron with one lucky winner receiving a Halloween Prize.

For those who like pulling faces, photos will be taken in a ‘Gurn and Earn’ competition with all photos being posted onto the Centre’s facebook page. And to ensure that the children look particularly scared, members of the Centre’s staff will be dressing up as characters from the Addams Family for the children to pose with.

The three scariest faces receiving the most ‘likes’ and ‘comments’ will each receive a ‘ghastly gift’ with one winner receiving a £25.00 gift voucher.

While in the Centre, Uncle Fester will be using the opportunity to find himself a wife and will be posing for ‘wedding’ photos with potential brides from the shop staff within the Centre. The ‘Wedding Album’ will be posted on the Centre’s facebook page and shoppers are invited to choose their favourite photo.

For those ‘Dressed to Scare’, there will be a Halloween Fancy Dress Parade at 2.30pm with prizes awarded to the most frightening fiend; scariest spectre; ghastliest ghoul and wackiest witch.

“Halloween increases in popularity each year,” says Kris Weeks, the Grays Shopping Centre. “With trick and treating; face pulling; dressing up and a Menacing Magician, it promises to be very scary in the Centre this Halloween Half Term.”

Oz Moses is an Equity member and a member of The Bristol Society of Magic.

Winner of ‘The Gill Shield’ for the most entertaining act in the

Bristol Society of Magic’s Cabaret Competition 1999, 2009 & 2010.

In 1999, 2001 & 2010 OzMoses also won  ‘The Parker Cup’ for comedy.

The entertainments are not supervised play schemes, therefore parents are asked to stay with their children and to join in with the activities.
