Police investigate assault after man struck at Grays railway station

ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened near Grays train station, Station Approach, between 8pm and 9.30pm on Sunday evening, October 18.

A man aged in his 30s was cut to the back of his head after being struck with something, possibly a bottle.

The victim left the location of the assault and was seen by a member of the public in New Road at 10pm and an ambulance was called.
