ESSEX Firefighters are tackling a fire in a bungalow in Hearsall Avenue, Stanford-le-Hope.
On arrival the incident commander reported that 50% of the bungalow roof was alight and that the building is completely smoke logged. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using two hose reel jets to tackle the fire.
Update: The fire was extinguished by 12:39hrs. Crews remain at the scene dealing with hot-spots.
