THURROCK MP was seen manning the Remain In stall in Grays High Street on Saturday afternoon.
Resplendent in purple (What is this, Hello magazine?-Ed), the Thurrock MP was seen side by side with both Conservative and Labour councillors as the campaign enters its final two weeks.
Political observers have wondered whether JDP was for Leave or Remain.
Some believed that as she was now a government whip then it would be politically expedient to "toe the line" and back Remain.
UKIP Thurrock Leader, Cllr Graham Snell said: "I don’t know why she held back from declaring her position for so long, we all knew it would be remain anyway.
"Thurrock people want positivity and honesty from their MP, not mucking about!"
