JACKIE Doyle Price MP has today announced that she will vote to remain in the European Union referendum.
Cllr Tim Aker MEP said: "Yet again Jackie has put her career before the wishes of Thurrock residents. She is out of touch on the Thames Crossing and now wants to hand over control of our borders, sovereignty and laws to the EU.
"I am voting Leave to end my term as an MEP and free our country. She is voting for her career.
"We have known for a long time that she is David Cameron’s representative in Thurrock rather than our champion in Westminster.
"Thurrock will vote resoundingly to leave the EU and today’s news shows that only one party represents Thurrock and that is UKIP."
