Kind-hearted volunteers paint Grays scout hut

KIND-hearted volunteers have given up their time to paint a Grays scout hut used by people with learning disabilities.

Sue Dellow, Roger Clay, Derrick Dellow and Colin Ward are all retired scout leaders and have gathered a gang of even more friends together to help make the house nice and clean and decorated lovely for when it’s new residents move in.

A spokesperson for Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions (TLS) said: "These are the types of folk of Thurrock that I see every day (not the fools that trashed our van or fight in the street.

They are kind, compassionate, willing to help and with a great sense of community … fantastic and a big thankyou to them from all at TLS.
