Update: Four arrested after man stabbed in Tilbury

Update: 1030 hrs

FOUR teenagers have been arrested following an assault in Tilbury on Thursday morning (June 23rd) which saw a boy stabbed.

A 16-year-old boy from East London, a 16-year-old boy from Tilbury; a 17-year-old boy from Ilford and a 17-year-old boy from Purfleet (who all cannot be named for legal reasons) are in custody at Grays police station.

THREE men are being sought after a man was stabbed in Tilbury.

Essex Police were called to Calcutta Road in Tilbury at around 9.20am on Thursday, June 23, following reports that a man had been stabbed in the arm.

Three men, described as black, aged 18 and wearing black jackets and tracksuits left the scene.

The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
