Robbers make off with cash from Grays shop

ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a convenience store in Chadwell Road, Grays, which happened at 6.30pm last night, Sunday, October 9.Two men with their faces covered entered the store and demanded cash. One of them was armed with a screwdriver.They stole cash and an unknown quantity of cigarettes. No one was injured.The men are both describes as being 5ft 8ins tall, of skinny build and wore dark clothing and masks.Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at Grays CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
