MANY people are thinking about learning something new at this time of year. Thurrock Adult Community College has just announced enrolments have opened on a new ‘Super Saturday’ programme of reduced price, ‘taster’ workshops at their Grays Adult Education Centre.
Over 20 new workshops are now enrolling on selected Saturdays this Spring (28 January, 25 February and 25 March) including wellbeing courses in Art, Yoga, NLP and Mindfulness, British Sign Language, Hair Extensions, TOWIE Blow-Dry techniques and Make-up Skills. A wide selection of computer skills courses and informative sessions for business are also available including how to develop a great business idea and keeping business records. Learn a new skill or try something new before deciding to progress onto a longer or qualification course. Why not bring your friends too?!
Would you like to inspire your child to become a future engineer or scientist, or simply have some fun and do something different at the weekend as a family? The Family Learning team will also be running STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Challenge Fun workshops on these dates.
