A team of Essex Specials have arrested two men on suspicion of drug offences and seized over a 100 cannabis plants following the execution of a drugs warrant in Tilbury.
Acting on intelligence, Essex Specials supported by officers from the Operational Support Group, executed a warrant at an address on Bure Road, East Tilbury at around 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 1.
At the address, the team discovered over 100 cannabis plants, including sophisticated hydroponic and ventilation equipment.
All of the cannabis plants were seized to be destroyed along with any paraphernalia used to grow drugs.
A 26-year-old man and 27-year-old man, both from Tilbury – were arrested at the scene on suspicion of production of cannabis and abstraction of electricity. Both men remain in custody.
