THE LEAD singer of The Stone Roses appeared at a charity football match at Thurrock FC on Sunday.
Ian Brown attended the match being held in the memory of Stephen Culver in aid of St Clare’s Hospice near Harlow.
The match was a Mark Stimson’s Dad’s Army v Tony Gay’s All Stars.
The Stone Roses were hugely popular in the late eighties. Ian Brown went on to have a successful solo career.
The band have re-united and are playing Wembley in June.
