ESSEX Police are appealing for information after a dog walker was knocked over a wall by two cyclists in Long Lane, Grays, at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, March 19.
The 52-year-old man, from Grays, was struck from behind, causing the dog lead to get tangled in a wheel and knocking the man over a 3ft wall.
The cyclists then shouted abuse at the man, who suffered pain to his back, knee and hand. The suspects cycled away from the scene.
The first suspect is described as being a white man, in his late 20s, with dark hair and of a slim build. He wore a dark top, green trousers and red trainers and cycled a red Baker style bicycle.
The second suspect is described as a white man, in his early 20s, with dark hair and of a stocky build, He wore a grey top and jeans and was riding a blue Baker style bicycle.
We would like to talk to four men in a Range Rover and two men in a Peugeot who came to the victim’s aid.
