Lakeside retailer sponsors local youth football team
THURROCK motor retailer, Mercedes-Benz Lakeside, has ensured Thurrock Whites under 15s football club kick off the season in style through a sponsorship programme that sees the team receive a new kit for all home and away fixtures.
Thurrock Whites football club, who were founded in 2007, have drummed up a lot of interest in the local Thurrock community and the Mercedes-Benz Lakeside team has now taken the opportunity to get behind the team, and offer their support.
The new kit sponsorship from Mercedes-Benz Lakeside has installed a new found belief in the team as Thurrock Whites under 15s went on to win a staggering 9-0 in their opening game of the Division A, Echo Junior Football League, putting them top of the table.
