ESSEX Police are appealing for information to identify the driver of a new style red Ford Fiesta, who failed to stop yesterday having seriously injured a 27-year-old man in Grays.
The red Ford Fiesta reversed into a parked car at Impulse Leisure Centre in Blackshots Lane around 9.30pm on Saturday, October 21.
The 27-year-old victim got out of another nearby vehicle when the driver of the stationary red ford fiesta revved the engine and drove directly towards him.
Despite the victim trying to move out of the way, the car struck his leg. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses or anyone who thinks they may know who the driver is, or may have seen a car matching this description with damage to the rear, are asked to contact Grays CID on 101 quoting incident 1217 of October 21.
