PUPILS and staff across the GLC Primaries joined in the ‘Children in Need’ spirit for a ‘Spotacular’ day of fundraising. They dressed in their Onesies and PJs to celebrate and raise funds for the yearly event.
The Gateway Primary Free School decided to split the amount that they raised between Children in Need and Childline, as the day fell during Anti Bullying Week, something all GLC schools are actively behind every year.
In total, the GLC raised in excess of £1,200!
CEO of the GLC, Mr Kevin Sadler, said “I am very proud that we raised so much money for very worthwhile causes. The pupils really made a very big effort with their outfits and I am delighted that we were part of such a fun, rewarding day.”
