Thurrock UKIP councillor arrested for second time

A THURROCK UKIP councillor has been arrested for a second time.

Last month, YT reported that Belhus councillor, Angela Sheridan, had been arrested following a disturbance in Horndon Road, Horndon on the Hill.

YT now understands that cllr Sheridan has been arrested again.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We arrested a woman in her 50s in Horndon Road, Horndon-on-the-Hill at around 9.35pm on January 17 on suspicion of assault.

It followed the report of an assault on January 10.

“She was taken to custody but later released without charge”.

YT sent a number of questions to the leader of Thurrock Ukip, cllr Graham Snell but he had not responded at the time of publication.
