A TRIAL date has been set in the case of a man accused of assaulting a Thurrock councillor.
Frances Sheridan, aged 59, of Vigerons Way, Chadwell St Mary is accused of assaulting Belhus councillor Angela Sheridan in Horndon-on-the-Hill on January 27th and January 28th, 2018.
A provisional date of July 20th at Chelmsford magistrates court has been set.
Sheridan pleads not guilty.
He has been released on bail.
