THURROCK failed in their quest to get a much needed point against league champions CS Rugby who confirmed their league triumph with this win.
It took over 20 minutes for the visitors to break the deadlock and managed to score three tries one of which was converted before before a fantastic break from Sonny Gay gave the chance for Jake Barrand to touch down under the posts he also added the conversion
Thurrock continued to battle as further tries from Barrand and Nathan Farrell scored tries the former being converted but it was all in vain
