VETERAN Chadwell St Mary fundraiser, Stanley Wall was the special guest of the mayor of Thurrock.
Stanley and his family enjoyed an afternoon tea in the parlour at the civic offices in Grays.
Mayor, cllr Barbara Rice is a Chadwell St Mary councillor and has been a great admirer of Stanley for all his charity work which involves him cycling impressive distances around the borough.
Many see Stanley in the Thurrock Cycle Marathon and usually hang their heads in despair as he passes them by at a rate of knots.
Well done to Stanley and all his family who are a great support to him.
