Bowers and Pitsea 3 v 3 Aveley
ANOTHER late show saw Aveley grab a vital late point away at the Len Salmon Stadium on Tuesday night.
Alexander Akrofi (9′ pen) had opened the scoring but David Knight pulled on back in the 16th minute.
Aveley re-took the lead through Andrew freeman in the 46th minute.
It looks like Bowers would claim all three points after goals by Lewis Manor (53′) and Callum Leahy (57′) but it was Alexander Akrofi (90′) who salvaged a vital point for the Millers.
The result sees Aveley move to third in the league, just two points off the top spot.
They return to league action on Saturday away at Soham Town Rangers
