Thurrock African Group (TAG) to celebrate Ankara Festival 2018
FOLLOWING on the success of the maiden edition of its flagship Ankara Festival, Thurrock Africa Group (TAG) is again rolling out the drums to celebrate this year. To address growing interests in the epic event, TAG has teamed up with media management company, Feferity Media Group, to organise this significant fête jointly.
To be celebrated as part of the 2018 Black History Month, the Ankara Festival is scheduled for Friday the 19th of October 2018. The venue is The Civic Hall, Blackshots Lane, Grays RM16 2JU.
This year’s festival, which starts from 5.00pm and runs till late, promises to be larger, more entertaining and commercially diverse than the inaugural celebration. Activities planned for the evening include red carpet and cocktails, fashion shows and catwalk, exhibitions and displays of fabrics, accessories and services, appetising continental food and desserts, cultural variety shows and live band entertainment. The evening will also offer attendees a genuine opportunity for socialising and networking.
Cllr Bukky Okunade, Chairperson of TAG, says: “Ankara Festival is growing larger every year and interests being shown continue to surpass our expectations. As a group rooted in the community and focused on the social and economic well-being of our people, TAG is inviting the general public to attend and celebrate together. Last year’s event attracted many people, and we trust that with more attendees in 2018, it will be a great place to showcase products and services.
We enjoin SMEs, other businesses and service professionals to take advantage and be part of this growth. The exposure of your brand to the multitude of potential attendees and participants will be hugely beneficial to your organisation and will be evident in the dividends that will accrue to your organisation afterwards.”
