Thurrock 21 v 24 Brentwood
THURROCK just failed to get across the line in this hard fought game as the visors edged the game in a 10 minute spell late in the second half when 2 converted tries while Thurrock were down to 14 men changed the game.
Brentwood started the game better and were rewarded with an early unconverted try, but Thurrock edged tree way back in the game with a brace of tries from Nathan Farrell the second without doubt the try of the season so far with an amazing 60 metre run scoring under the posts both tries converted by Tom Worsfold
An early second half try brought the score back to 14-10 to the home side until that 10 minute spell changed the complexion of the game.
Thurrock however came back and Charlie Russo with a try converted by Worsfold giving Thurrock a chance in the last few minutes,
This week back to league action with the short journey across the bridge to Dartfordians
