Man victim of knifepoint robbery in Tilbury

ESSEX Police are appealing for information following an incident where a man was robbed in Tilbury.

The victim, a man in his 20s, had been approached by two men in Calcutta Road at around 11pm on Tuesday, October 16.

It’s been reported on of the men had a knife and the victim was threatened with it before having items including a mobile phone, money and a bank card stolen.

The men then ran off towards Tilbury Railway Station.

If you saw or heard anything, have CCTV, were driving in the area and have dash cam footage or have any other information please call us on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/150840/18.

  1. I’ve told everyone a million times before .Just don’t go out at night.
    It’s the wild west out here.
    It’s christmas night every night at my place in TIlbry a criminal comes down the chimney every night.

    The Police cuts have done us the world of good.
    Best thing ever was closing the Tilbury Police station it clearly was not needed.
