Bellway stages UK’s biggest developer-run new homes sales show this weekend
NATIONAL housebuilder Bellway will stage the country’s biggest developer-run new homes sales event in London on Friday and Saturday (May 17th and 18th).
The high-profile builder is to give away £1,000 in Ikea vouchers with every home sold at the show at The O2 Intercontinental Hotel in Greenwich as it returns for the third year.
Hundreds of homes will be released to the market for the first time in 13 locations across London and the commuter belt.
Help to Buy or London Help to Buy will be available on homes in Barking Riverside, Thurrock, Croydon, Greenwich, Grays, Woolwich, Poplar, Beckton and Old Isleworth.
New developments in Ebbsfleet, Bexleyheath, Sydenham and Hayes will also go on sale for the first time.
There will also be a showcase of new developments due to launch in 2020 in Barking, Bishop’s Stortford, Hornchurch and Dartford.
Ian Gorst, Bellway Regional Chairman for London and the South East, said: “This year’s Bellway Homebuyers Event promises to be bigger and more popular than ever.
“Never before have we released so many homes for sale at one event, and we know from our database that the demand for these developments is strong.
“The £1,000 Ikea vouchers will only be available to people who reserve their home at the event.”
He added: “Many of our customers will be first-time buyers and this extra incentive will offer a helping hand as they prepare to furnish and settle into their homes.”
Previous events have helped hundreds of people to purchase a new home, many using Help to Buy or London Help to Buy.
This time there will also be a range of discounts exclusive to the event, as well as investor opportunities and packages.
Independent financial advisors and solicitors will be on hand to offer advice and the Bellway team will be ready to guide visitors through their Help to Buy and London Help to Buy applications.
London Help to Buy is available across all London boroughs and enables purchasers to secure a home with a five per cent deposit and a 55 per cent mortgage.
The remaining 40 per cent is provided as an equity loan backed by the Government.
Help to Buy is available across the wider South East.
It offers an equity loan of 20 per cent to purchasers of new homes who have a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage.
The Bellway Homebuyers Event will take place from 12pm to 7pm on Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday on the second floor of the O2 Intercontinental.
