A PURFLEET woman is set to stand trial in the new year accused of an offence against the Proceeds of Crime Act that involved over a quarter of a million pounds.
Oluwabunmi Tejuoso, aged 42, of Church Hollow, Purfleet has been charged with the following.
Between 01/11/2016 and 10/04/2017 at Purfleet entered into an arrangement which you knew or suspected facilitated the acquisition, retention, use or control of criminal property, namely £282,745.24, by or on behalf of another person.
Tejuoso’s next court appearance is scheduled for Friday January 3rd, 2020 at Basildon Crown Court.
She has pleaded not guilty.
Court has directed trial by jury.
