A THAMESIDE Young Producer has braved the shave and raised over £1000 so far for McMillan Cancer Trust.
Amy-Louise Hayward says on her Brave the Shave page that she is choosing to do it in memory of her nans and granddad, “and my darling Robert.”
Amy shaved her head last Sunday (26 April) and has received plaudits over social media, with many people still donating.
According to her Brave the Shave profile, it states she has currently raised £540, far surpassing her £300 target she set out for herself.
However, in a post shared Thameside Theatre on their Facebook page (Monday 27 April), they appeared to confirm the total was far higher.
Thameside Theatre said on Facebook on Monday (27 April): “Amy-Louise Hayward, one of our amazing Thameside Young Producers, has ‘Braved the Shave’ for McMillan Cancer Trust and has raised over £1000 so far! Absolutely incredible! Well done Amy-Louise, we are so proud of you!”
