EAST Anglia Children’s Hospice (EEACH) have launched a Virtual Pub Quiz, to take place this Saturday (9 May).
All funds raised from the quiz are being donated to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices emergency fundraising appeal helping children and their families throughout the COVID-19 Crisis.
The event page on Facebook for the Virtual Pub Quiz reads as follows:
“EACH and Quiztaztic proudly present VIRTUALLY the Best Pub Quiz Ever, a fun way to bring together family, friends & colleagues from anywhere!
“Play along in teams on your chosen video call app, as our entertaining quizmaster hosts the live show, complete with music & videos on YouTube.
“As team captain you can recruit up to 8 players across 4 other households to your team. The team captain should sign up your team below. You will be sent the YouTube quiz link to share with your team on the day of the quiz once you have registered.
“Team ticket – £5.00 per household, eg, one household £5.00, two households £10.00 etc to a maximum of 4 households and 8 players
“Taking part in the quiz is easy! Here’s how it works:
Get your virtual team together and choose your Team Captain (who will be in charge of signing you all up and completing the online answer sheets.)
Register by going to the EACH website event page here and clicking the ‘register now’ link to access the page.
Once your team are registered, we’ll share the online Team Entry form, quiz sheets and YouTube link via email and on the Facebook event on Saturday 9th May.
The quiz will take place from 8pm until 9:30pm.
Choose the app your team will connect with on video call (choose from Houseparty, Zoom, Facetime and Whats App).
