Thurrock foodbank thank community for going the extra mile with their donations

THURROCK Foodbank have expressed their thanks to the community for their continuing generosity in these unprecedented times.

Organisations and the wider community have pulled together in these difficult times to ensure Thurrock foodbank get the donations they need.

On Friday 1 May Thurrock foodbank posted this message on social media:

“Thank you to Jake and all the customers and staff and local friends of @trunklogistics for the great donation of food and other items which weighed in at 150kg. They are hoping to repeat the collection again very soon. Thank you and well done.”

On Thursday 30 May they thanked a Facebook group for their donations.

“A big thank you to the members of A Random Act of Kindness UK Facebook group for the great donation of food, toiletries and pet food. Thank you to Kirstie, one of their Admin team, for bringing it all over to our warehouse.”
