DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following an altercation in High Street, Aveley on Tuesday 8 September.
They were called at around 1pm with reports that a man in his 20s was assaulted by four men. The man had just gone into his white pickup truck with a drop side when this occurred.
The four men believed to be in their 20s were driving a silver car.
They believe this was a targeted attack.
