A man has admitted conspiracy to burgle after a rhinoceros head was stolen from a Surrey museum.
Jamie Channon, 33, of Melba Gardens, Tilbury, Essex, admitted burgling Haslemere Educational Museum in the early hours of 27 May last year.
He was remanded in custody by Guildford Crown Court to await sentencing.
Tony Moore, 30, of Ottowa Road, Tilbury, pleaded not guilty to the same charge and was remanded in custody to await trial beginning on 6 August.
Both men were also charged with conspiring to burgle 13 supermarkets in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
Channon pleaded guilty to the charges, while Mr Moore pleaded not guilty.
