DESPITE the challenges of the last two years, year 11 students are celebrating some fantastic GCSE results today with a third of the year group achieving more than expected progress, some by more than 2 grades.
THE St Clere’s class of 2022 have shown huge resilience throughout their secondary education and they have not let two years of Covid lockdown effect their futures. Today, the Year group received their GCSE outcomes and were able to celebrate some huge successes following a turbulent few years.

THURROCK Council has been forced to suspend garden waste collections for the rest of the week because of the actions of protestors who have forced the closure of one road and traffic restrictions on another near Thurrock Council’s Oliver Close waste depot in West Thurrock. General waste and recycling collections will also be delayed as a result of the protests.
A GOVERNMENT inspection of Thurrock Council’s Youth Offending Service has rated it as overall ‘Good’ after inspectors found that the service has outstanding leadership and does excellent work in assessing what intervention is required to help prevent young people from re-offending.
