AVELEY made a flying start to Saturday’s Buildbase FA Trophy Extra Preliminary tie at Parkside, taking the lead in the first minute when Alex Akrofi set up Tom Richardson who chipped keeper Morgan Campbell.

WHAT looked like a tricky tie on paper for Blues turned out to be anything but, with an all round team performance propelling them into the next round of the FA Trophy at the expense of Felixstowe & Walton.
