THURROCK Swimming Club received a grant from Active Essex to help reopen the teaching pool in Blackshots and encourage young swimmers back into the sport. The club plans to recruit over 65 new swimmers aged 5-10years of age teaching them how to swim and giving them the opportunity to develop and progress through the learn to swim programme.
