Police are appealing for information about an attempted robbery from the Post Office in Dock Road, Tilbury at about 5 30 pm last night.
Three men, all wearing masks and dark clothing assaulted a male worker in the shop just as the shop was closing. The man was unhurt.
The suspects are believed to be black and one of them was wearing a t-shirt with a skeleton on. The men fled empty handed when the alarm went off.
