The Tilbury Forum have arranged for the Horse Trough that was removed from the junction of Dock Road and Calcutta Road back in the 1960’s to be refurbished and placed back as near as possible to where it stood planted with flowers.
They have asked if anyone has information and photographs of the Horse Trough to get in contact with Jack Doodes on 01375 405605
It is also planned to erect a Blue Plaque at the site in the future.
