POLICE are asking for the public’s help to identify a man they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery that took place on Saturday, February 5 at the Co-op on Southend Road, Grays.
At 6.10pm a man entered the store and threatened the female cashier with a knife asking her to open the till which she refused to do, the man then tried to force his way behind the till area but was prevented from doing so by the cashier at great personal risk to herself.
He then snatched a packet of cigarettes before making off from the store
