THURROCK athlete Hayley MacLean took another giant stride in her athletics career by posting a personal best at the first ever meeting at the olympic stadium.
Palmer’s College student, Hayley ran at the British Universities and College champs (BUCS).
Hayley came second in her 400 metres hurdles race in 58.57.
The time qualifies Hayley for the World Junior champs.
Although Hayley’s coaches are clear that she is only seventeen, still developing as an athlete, the time puts her fourth in the British rankings this year.
